Oklahoma vs Oklahoma State
Oklahoma gets another big win. This time against Oklahoma State their big in state rival. The game was close all the way through but at the end Oklahoma pulled away and won by 20. Sam Bradford stated the game off slow only going 4-11 on passes but then he got going finishing the game 30-44 with 370 passing yards and 4 touchdowns. Oklahoma States quarterback showed what he had also. Zac Robison went 17-26 with 256 and 3 touchdowns but had one interception, he also helped Oklahoma State on the ground by running for 90 yards and 1 touchdown. Wide recievers on both teams helped out, most of the wide receivers and tight ends had at least one catch each and many had over 5. In all the whole game was an offensive show with a combined score of 102. With the win Oklahoma also makes it a 3 way tie for the Big 12 south. Now its up to the BCS to decide who wins and who plays Nebraska for the Big 12 Championship game.

Vikes blew it
Today the Vikes sucked it up, they were terrible. The Vikings were up 13 to 3 at halftime and looked like they were going to win easily but nope, that didn't happen. They didn't even score once in the second half and they gave up 13 points. Jeff Garcia was a big part in our loss. He didn't have any mistakes at all during the game and evaded the Vikes all game and only got sacked one time but didn't lose any yards on it. On offense the Vikings had their chances but didn't use them. The first drive for the Vikings wasn't good and the game was just like that drive. They didn't run the ball till the middle of the second drive and with the run game they scored but they didn't run enough. Adrian only had 19 carries for 85 yards compared to the last couple games he had 25-30 carries and over 150 yards. Frerotte had a decent game with completing 14 passes and throwing a touchdown but it wasn't enough. The Vikes defense and special teams have to improve over the week and have a better game than today or the Vikes will keep losing.
Gophers lost it
Saturday the Gophers played the Badgers and blew the win. They were up 21 to 7 going into halftime and lost the intencity after that. They only got a field goal in the 3rd quarter and Wisconsin got a touchdown and a field goal. They were still ahead going to the 4th quarter but that was the worst quarter for them. Wisconsin started the quarter with a touchdown then came Minnesota woes. The Gophers gave up two safties without any scoring any points between the safties. Then the Badgers got another touchdown and went up by 11. The Gophers almost came back in the end of the 4th scoring a touchdown and getting the 2 point conversion with 4:15 left in the game. Then they kicked it deep for Wisconsin and they were able to stop them and get the ball back on a punt. Then they started the drive pretty good but then it came down to 4th down and Adam Weber threw a pick and that secured the win for Wisconsin. All the Badgers did was kneel the ball and run the clock out for the win. The Gophers get the Hawkeyes next week so they better be ready to play.

Vikings Packers Game 2
First off the Vikings got super lucky in today's game with the missed field goal by Mason Crosby, which gave the Vikings the win today. Gus Frerotte didn't have a good game, he threw 3 interceptions but one good thing is he threw for 151 yards and 2 touchdowns. Adrian Peterson and Chester Taylor ran all over the Packers today rushing for 227 yards. Bernard Berrian didn't get involved with any of the game. He didn't get any catches today. Chester Taylor was the leading reciever for the game with 4 catches, 84 yards and a touchdown. The Vikings defense was the biggest part of the win today getting 2 safties and getting to Aaron Rodgers numerous times. The Packers had a good chance of winning the game today by intercepting 3 passes and having a interception and punt return for touchdowns. The Packers couldn't get anything going on offense with Aaron Rodgers only throwing for 142 yards and Ryan Grant only ran for 75 yards today. So the Vikings got lucky today but have to improve for Tampa Bay next sunday.

Gophers lose 2nd straight game
Saturday the Gophers lose their second straight game. This week it was to Michigan. The Gophers didn't have a very good game. The Gophers only had 105 passing yards and only 83 rushing yards compared to Michigans 203 passing yards and 232 rushing yards, so just by that you can see the Gophers struggled today. Penalties hurt Minnesota also with the 7 they commited. Eric Decker wasn't really used at all today, with only one catch for -3 yards. For Michigan they had a good game. K.C. Lapota, Michigans kicker, had a record day. Today he set Michigans school record for most field goals made in one game, by going 5 for 5 on field goals with the longest being from 48 yards. So the Gophers had a bad game and the next two games won't be any easier with Wisconsin and Iowa.

Texas vs Texas Tech
What a game, either team could've took that game. At the beginning it looked like Texas Tech would just run away and win big, but it came down to the last second. Which ever team you wanted to win had a chance but Texas Tech got the big win. Both Colt McCoy and Graham Harrell had huge games but McCoy had a few mistakes in the beginnig that could have cost Texas the game. The first half of the game was all Texas Tech, they were up 19-0 and at half it was 22-6. Then came the second half and Texas almost had another huge comeback and almost pulled it off. Texas took the lead 33-32 with one minute and 29 seconds, but Texas Tech wasn't done they came back with a huge drive but it almost didn't work for them. Texas had a chance to intercept the ball but it went right threw the hands of Texas' safty and that gave Texas Tech the chance to win and they took it. Graham Harrell threw the winning touchdown pass to Michael Crabtree with 1 second left. Then Texas got the kick return and tried to lateral it but it didn't work and Texas Tech got the win. With everything that happened it was a great game to watch.
Rays come close
The Tampa Bay Rays came close to winning the world series but fell short losing 4 games to 1 against the Phillys. They were the biggest suprise of the year this year. No one had thought they could've went as far as they did. Everybody was suprised and didn't think it was true but it was. They came from the worst team in the MLB last year to 2nd best, but many people thought they were the best. Evan Longoria played a huge part in Tampa's way to the World Series, he also won the American League Rookie of the Year. When the World Series started a bunch of people thought the Rays would win it but after the first game many people had not changed their minds but many did later in the series. After the third game when the Rays went down 2-1 people started questioning the Rays. After the series was over many people still liked the Rays and are hoping they can be like they were this year for years to come.
