Vikes get lucky win

The Vikings were able to pull off a lucky win against Detroit today. Through out the game it seemed like Detroit was going to edge out the Vikings for their first win, but in the 4th quarter the Vikings were able outscrore the Lions and get the win. Tavaris Jackson made his return in the second half after Gus Frerotte suffered a back injury. Jackson played good in the second half. He went 8 for 10 and threw for 105 yards and one touchdown. Adrian didn't get going until the 2nd half but he still ended up with 102 yards. Most of the recievers got at least 2 catches each and leading was Visanthe Shiancoe with 5 catches for 65 yards and one touchdown. For the Lions, many people steped up and help out and almost got the win. Daunte Culpepper had a good game, he threw for 220 yards and one touchdown. The Lions never really got a running game going so they were held to under 100 yards rushing. Calvin Johnson was a big part of Detroits game. He had 84 receiving yards and a touchdown catch. The Lions had many chances to put the game out of reach for the Vikings but the Vikes defense steped up and stopped them in the redzone. So the Vikings got a good win today but the next three games will be the hardest three of the year.
